THE FAMILY BUSINESS PLAN

Running a business can be challenging enough and when you add managing family members in the business, that becomes even more challenging.

It can be a tough gig walking that tightrope balancing your obligations as a business owner and employer and your duties as a parent.

Our Practice Leader, Pater Maguire has been helping family business ownsrs with just these sorts of challenges for over 30 years. Plus he has done it himself in his own business.

His view: “What we all want as parents is for our kids to find their happy place – a career that they enjoy and one which uses their strengths to optimise the potential for their success and wellbeing. Sometimes there are opportunities within the business and sometimes their best future lies elsewhere. Using a strengths-based approach, we can work out what that looks like and develop a Personal Plan that will help to keep things grounded and targeted.”
